Commissioned by Harlow Creates and Harlow Town Council we engaged over 300 children from 12 schools, and the Home Education community, to help us design a guardian sculpture for the new Canons Gate Community Orchard in Harlow. The finished work depicts a Mother and her 4 mixed race children and the idea was devised by Tristan and Hope from St. James C of E Primary School, Harlow.

I had a brilliant day learning how to carve a wooden spoon. Rob slowly guided us through each stage and at the end of the day we all ended up with a serviceable wooden spoon.
