who we are
Meet Rob & Kim
Neith Art & Sculpture is a collaborative practice led by Kim Neith Thompson and Rob Neith Nicholson, creating site-specific public artworks that grow directly out of place, people and process. Our work is rooted in community engagement that is genuinely inclusive and non-ability-dependent, designed to be engaging, enjoyable and exploratory. The co-creation process is not an add-on to our projects but integral to how the work is formed, allowing local knowledge, lived experience and collective creativity to shape the final outcome in meaningful and visible ways. Our projects consistently respond to the social and natural histories of their sites, creating artworks that feel embedded, relevant and owned by the communities who encounter them.
About Us
What we Do
We work primarily in sustainably sourced UK-grown timber and bring over fifteen years of experience in sculpting, construction and structural design for the public realm.
This includes a deep understanding of material behaviour, durability, fixing methods and long-term performance in outdoor environments, enabling us to produce robust, high-quality works without compromising artistic integrity. Sustainability underpins both our practice and our lives: we work off-grid, prioritise low-impact processes, reuse materials wherever possible, and design projects that balance environmental responsibility with longevity.
Rob’s role as Art Producer ensures that every project is delivered from start to finish with clarity and care, managing budgets, logistics, stakeholders, fabrication and installation alongside the creative work. Together, we combine strong project management with a thoughtful, values-led approach to making, resulting in public artworks that are structurally sound, environmentally responsible and artistically rigorous.
